Finding a qualified and registered therapist

To search on-line for a psychotherapist near you, visit the website of the British Psychoanalytic Council (The BPC). The BPC is a regulatory body which sets and maintains standards of clinical training and professional conduct for its eleven member organisations. The BPC maintains a Register of professional members who have trained and qualified through one of these societies. The Register is available on-line. The member societies of the BPC offer reduced fee psychotherapy for adults and some offer reduced fee psychotherapy for children and adolescents. For a list of vacancies offered by one member society, visit the website of the British Association of Psychotherapists (BAP)

I work as a sole practitioner - within the professional community of BAP and BPC.

Before qualifying as a psychotherapist, I qualified as a Counsellor (WPF ) (1998).
I have been listed on the UK Register of Independent Counsellors (UKRC) since 1999.
I am accredited as a Senior Counsellor by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
